Charting Miller’s cultivation of his esoteric ideas from boyhood and adolescence to later in his career, Calonne examines how Miller remained deeply engaged with a variety of philosophies, from astrology and Gnosticism to Eastern thinkers. Troubling omissions.

I think it's very disturbing that this book "erases" the contribution of some of the most important Miller scholarship of the last fifteen years. Notably my own! It's a pity editors are not familiar enough with the subjects they sign up books on to even notice.
